Virtuoso guitarist Kenton Youngstrom recorded fifty-five classical guitar pieces on fifty-five world-class instruments built between 1867-2009 for the Second Edition of Sheldon Urlik's book: A COLLECTION OF FINE SPANISH GUITARS FROM TORRES TO THE PRESENT (sunnyknollpublishing.com). The double album contains original works and premiere transcriptions of works by Luys de Narváez, Francis Cutting, John Dowland, Dieterich Buxtehude, Gaspar Sanz, Christian Petzold, Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Sebastian Bach, Leopold Mozart, Fernando Sor, Niccoló Paganini, Matteo Carcassi, Frédéric Chopin, Robert Schumann, Léo Delibes, Francisco Tárrega and Erik Satie, and includes the premiere recording of Francisco Tárrega's "Capricho Arabe" performed on the composer's own 1888 guitar created by the father of modern classical guitar construction, Antonio de Torres!
